Referral Policy

This policy explains how Orion Productions referral rewards work. Referral rewards are meant to thank clients who introduce us to real new clients who may benefit from our work.

Referral reward amounts

• General Orion projects: the referred client gets $20 credit toward their first project, and the referrer gets $20 cash or $20 Orion credit after the referred client makes their first payment.
• Minecraft trailer projects: the referred client gets $15 credit toward their first trailer, and the referrer gets $15 cash or $15 Orion credit after the referred client makes their first payment.
• Minecraft Marketplace trailer projects: the referred studio gets $50 credit toward their first Marketplace trailer project, and the referrer gets $50 cash or $50 Orion credit after payment.

When rewards are paid

Referral rewards are only paid after the referred client makes their first payment and the payment clears. For larger projects, Orion may wait until the deposit is non-refundable or the project has started.

Who qualifies

• The referred client must be new to Orion Productions.
• The referred client must not already be in Orion's active pipeline.
• The referral must be submitted before the referred client pays.
• The referred person must have given permission to be contacted, or the referrer must introduce Orion directly.
• If the same person is referred by multiple clients, the first valid referral wins.

When rewards do not apply

• The referred person was already a lead or active prospect.
• The referred person does not pay.
• The project is cancelled or refunded.
• The referral is fake, duplicate, abusive, or submitted without permission.

Cash or credit

Referral rewards may be paid as cash or Orion credit. The referred person receives credit toward their first eligible Orion project.

Disclosure

Referral rewards must be disclosed when contacting referred leads. Orion will tell referred leads that the referrer may receive a reward if they book and pay.

Right to reject referrals

Orion Productions can reject fake, duplicate, abusive, unclear, or invalid referrals. Orion may also reject referrals when contact permission is missing or when the referral creates a conflict.

Orion Productions can change, pause, or end the referral program at any time.
