Refund and Payment Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
This Refund and Payment Policy applies to production services booked through Orion Productions.
Deposits
A deposit is required before production work begins on any project. The deposit amount, total project price, payment schedule, deliverables, revisions, and timeline are agreed in writing before work starts. No production work begins until the required deposit or agreed payment is received.
Payments
Payment terms are confirmed per project. Depending on the project, payment may be split into deposit before work begins, progress payment during production, final payment before final delivery, or full upfront payment for smaller projects.
Final files may be withheld until all required payments are received.
Refunds
Because production work involves planning, preparation, creative direction, scheduling, editing, and time investment, deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
If a project has not started and both parties agree in writing, a full or partial refund may be arranged at Orion Productions’ discretion.
Refund requests must be made in writing to contact@orionproductions.co. For Minecraft trailer projects, refund requests may also be sent to minecraft@orionproductions.co.
Cancellations
If a client cancels a project after production has started, the client is responsible for payment covering the work completed up to the point of cancellation. The amount owed will depend on the stage of production reached, the agreed project scope, time already spent, preparation completed, filming completed, editing completed, and any costs already incurred.
Orion Productions will provide a clear breakdown of work completed before any final payment is requested.
Rescheduling
If a client needs to reschedule a shoot, recording session, deadline, or project milestone, they must notify Orion Productions as early as possible. Rescheduling may affect delivery timelines. Additional fees may apply if rescheduling causes extra costs, lost production time, location fees, crew fees, travel costs, or repeated delays.
Revisions
The number of revision rounds included in a project is agreed before production begins. Revision requests must stay within the agreed project scope. Revision requests outside the agreed scope may be quoted and billed separately.
Feedback should be submitted in a clear and consolidated way. Multiple separate rounds of feedback after a revision has been delivered may count as additional revision rounds.
Scope changes
Changes to the agreed project scope may affect the price and timeline. Scope changes may include additional videos or cutdowns, new scenes or footage requirements, extra filming days, new edit directions after work has already started, additional revisions, faster delivery deadlines, additional platform formats, new music, sound design, title, or graphic requirements, and additional exports or deliverables.
Any extra work will be quoted before it is started.
Delivery and approval
A project is considered complete once final files are delivered and approved, or once the included revision rounds have been used and the agreed deliverables have been provided. Further changes after final approval are treated as new work and quoted separately.
Late feedback or delayed client response
If client feedback, files, access, approvals, or communication are delayed, the delivery timeline may also be delayed. Orion Productions is not responsible for missed launch dates caused by late client response, missing access, incomplete materials, delayed payment, or changes requested after the project timeline has already been agreed.
Disputes
If you have a concern about a payment, deliverable, invoice, or project outcome, contact Orion Productions directly.
