Video Editor
Shape raw footage into clear, polished stories for commercial, social, event, and digital-production work. You’ll own edits from organised project setup through review, revision, and final delivery.
What you’ll do
- Turn briefs and raw footage into clear edits with deliberate story, pace, and structure.
- Edit commercial videos, social content, event coverage, interviews, and selected digital-production work.
- Handle clean project organisation, selects, sound cleanup, colour consistency, titles, and export versions.
- Respond to review notes thoughtfully and keep versioning, files, and delivery status accurate.
- Work with the production team to identify missing material, protect quality, and meet realistic deadlines.
What matters
- Strong editing judgement—not simply knowing where the buttons are.
- Confident use of Premiere Pro or another professional NLE, with a willingness to work in Orion’s pipeline.
- Careful project organisation, file naming, backups, and version control.
- Ability to explain editing choices, receive direct feedback, and improve the next pass.
- Reliable commute to Orion’s Hurghada office and professional day-to-day communication.
Experience level: professional experience is valuable, but strong personal, freelance, or student work can also demonstrate the judgement we need. A degree is not required.
